I'm Clyde Holscher, I have operated Guide Lines Guide service in Topeka, Kansas for 14 years. I am a full-time multi-species guide, primarily fishing Perry, Clinton, Pomona, Melvern and Coffey County Lakes here in Northeast Kansas. A fisherman with over 40 years of experience ready to share my acquired knowledge with you.
Individual instruction - when, where & how to fish what, which involves most species. Learn how to make your time on the water more productive and enjoyable.
I encourage selective harvest, and will clean fish, if requested. Cleaning time comes off of the fishing time.
Area lakes include: Clinton, Melvern, Perry, Pomona, and Coffey County Lake (AKA Wolf Creek) and a leased Water Shed. (Also open to suggestions.)
Updated yearly, Rod/Reels/Tackle is provided, if requested. Client is responsible for replacing broken or lost equipment. The cost of live bait is the responsibility of the client.
All Star, Shakespeare, and Pflueger rod & reels, Ambush Lures, Blakemore Lures, Worden Rooster-Tails, Gamakatsu Hooks, Digger Anchors, Poes/Timber Tiger crankbaits, and Culprit Baits.
Guide Trip Cost - The cost of one day guided trip (7 hours) for 1 or 2 persons is $300.00, $50.00 additional for a third person. A $75.00 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm that day of fishing. Deposits may be paid by check or money order. The balance of the trip to be paid on fishing date. Deposits are not returned because of cancellations, however should circumstances arise that necessitates your changing the confirmed date, then the deposits will be applied against the new date. (Reschedules require 10 days advance notice, and a $25.00 rescheduling charge.) Prices for 1/2 day trips (4 hours) are $200.00 for 1 or 2 persons & $50.00 additional for third person. Tag boats are allowed for your group at a charge of $100.00 per boat, (an additional client or clients that follow primary client in a second boat).
Requirements:
-Life jackets must be worn when the big motor is started
-Insurance does not permit alcohol in the boat
-Client must have valid Kansas Fishing license.
-Dress appropriately for weather conditions.
